Product Care Guide
The leather we use in our products is 100% vegetable tanned, a method used exclusively to create the highest quality leather and finish, avoiding harsh chemicals such as chromium, which damages workers' health and the environment. Vegetable tanning is considered the most natural and organic form of tanning and ensures that the structure and grain of the leather is not compromised. With no chemicals used, each skin and product is unique and will develop its own patina over time. Due to the high quality of the leather, there may be subtle signs of veining or slight colour variances on the smooth leather. These are all natural characteristics and are considered a sign of the leather's quality and organic nature.
Cleaning - We recommend cleaning the exterior of your leather product with a soft cloth and warm, mild soapy water. Ensure the cloth is thoroughly wrung out, so it is only slightly damp. Then repeat with water and leave to dry in a cool dark place. Finish by applying leather gel to protect the leather.
Storage - Keep in a dust bag within a cool dark, dry place, such as a wardrobe.
Care - Do not leave your leather products in direct sunlight or near a heat source, this will discolour and permanently damage them. Follow the cleaning instructions above when dirty and apply leather gel when needed to keep the leather healthy.
